Holy Crap! My Crap's On TV!

Have you been watching a show on TV and seen something you own? That moment of shock hits you then all of a sudden it washes over you - "I have that! That's my crap! OMG! No one will ever believe this!"

Well, back up that DVR, hit pause, and snap a pic because now you can showcase your proof!

The pattern struck me as familiar. Storage Wars gives us our newest entry with this Cheapo McCheapy summer blankie. This blanket is so special, someone deemed it worthy to store and forget about! It took us a while to find ours, as we had done much the same.

Twofer Time! Hurray for The Joe Schmo Show and their Ikea decorated Full Bounty home.

These pillows that grace the Schmo Show patio furniture are throw pillows on my bed. So yes, I am wearing a nightgown- I popped out of bed as soon as I saw these to get them right to you! Enjoy :)

WHOA! Do you guys have an Immunity Vest, too?!

(new Schmo tonight, 10/9c)

Wow! We are legit! Thanks SpikeTV, and, if you send me that Immunity Vest you can be sure I will wear it with pride while featuring it on my blog ;)

This is my knife holder as seen in an ad for Fab.com. Did you expect mine to be another colour? ;)

‘Tis the season for a Scotch Tape ad! In pink, no less :)

I accidentally posted something non-TV related whilst half asleep. I had meant to post it on my alter-ego’s blog, shanianne.tumblr.com/.  The picture posted were of children from the 30’s who were probably never on TV and were certainly not Crap. Thank you very much!

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming!

My parents have been shlepping around two of these travel boxes of tissue for over 30 years. They must have known I’d one day have a popular blog featuring oddly hoarded curiosities! I proudly present to you Brian holding the National Lampoon Vacation Travel Tissue Box!

My family noticed how I keep finding objects on Hoarders. Yeah, well, I guess the odds are with that show! These are the reading glasses I have in common with Lynda. We also seem to share a chin line. This one’s a twofer!

Look it’s my orange Dalek on Collection Intervention!!

So i was watching the season premiere on my laptop…

I saw this and, well, it was just too perfect! I HAD to reblog it! Thank you Breaking-bad-overdose, love your blog!

Phytage does it again! This wonderful Dalek is from Collection Intervention

Our faithful contributor informs us that this crazy show features many more items she owns. I’m looking forward to lots more from Phytage, but now that I think of it, perhaps I should be watching this show as well, what?!

This is our Storage Wars chest! I just started watching this devil-show tonight. What have I been missing!?

The model for this lovely item is our cat Trillian. He enjoys jumping, nudging, napping, and watching TV. And yes, he is named after HHGTTG. That and his mother, Mystery, trilled a lot when she was pregnant so the name worked out well.

The location for this picture is my bedroom, since this chest is usually kept in my closet, and I’ll be darned if I was gonna haul this sucker down the stairs to the family room.

Fun fact: The bottom drawer is filled with our dog Watson’s Hallowe’en costumes!

This is my Hoarders (Kathleen and Scott) Cobra 142 GTL CB homebase radio! Yes, it was peaked and tweaked, and yeah, I glued rhinestones to the knobs,  I did a little paint job on it. It was the 80’s! I had a black light, and this sucker glowed! Not shown is my lollipop mic because, well, it wasn’t in the episode. This guy seems to have done a bit of modifying on his rig as well. Wonder what Scott’s handle was?

Here it is! My Monkees Davy Jones album! And yes this episode has both my first and second crush. Who was my first crush? At 3, I had a thing for Bobby Sherman. This is episode 31, The Monkees At The Movies.

I was probably 5 when I first saw this episode (in syndication, of course). I believe I imploded and left behind nothing but Fruity Pebble dust.

While my young heart was sad at the fact that Bobby was cast as a schmuck, this helped me not to be so confused over which true love to be loyal toward.

I unpacked an item in my garage that I derped on and really should have made the connection a while ago. (I’m on Topamax and have lost my memory along with all sense for carbonation. What’s with that?)

I don’t want to say too much, but I will say this particular show features my second (and longest) crush ever, while the episode my item is featured in also guest stars my first ever crush! I am an old woman, so this will be an old show.

Ok. to be fair, the show went off the air one month before I was born. But crushes can be syndicated too, damn it!
